New progress in the study of magnetocrystalline anisotropic materials at the Fujian Institute of Structures, Chinese Academy of Sciences

New progress has been made in the research of magnetocrystalline anisotropy materials at the Fujian Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Magnetocrystalline anisotropy is one of the important indicators of functional magnetic materials in magnetic recording and other applications. It explores and clarifies the magnetocrystalline anisotropy of low-dimensional magnetic materials And the various magnetic critical phenomena caused by it are the current research hotspots of condensed matter physics. With the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology 973 Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the research team led by Cheng Wendan and He Changzhen, State Key Laboratory of Structural Chemistry, Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, explored novelty using component assembly principles from the perspective of molecular engineering Magnetic materials, using innovative growth process to obtain high-quality single crystals, and in collaboration with Professor Y. Ueda of the University of Tokyo in Japan to carry out magnetic research. In the CuO-V2O5 system, it was found that the two-dimensional planar structure of Cu5V2O10 single crystal has very large magnetocrystalline anisotropy characteristics, and the research results are published in the form of communication in the Journal of the American Chemical Society Soc. 2011, 133, 1298–1300). The research group also systematically studied other transition metal vanadate systems MO-V2O5 (M = Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, Mn), and successfully developed a variety of large magnetocrystalline anisotropic materials, the relevant results were Published in J.
