Despite overcoming difficulties, the plant was forced to stop production due to high load and high cost. In 2005, the resource optimization project entered the design optimization stage. After repeated studies, the company decided to completely abandon the sulfuric alkali reduction method and use the hydrogen reduction method to reduce "three wastes" from the source.

In September last year, the newly-built hydrogenation reactor for the core equipment of the 15,000-ton/year RT unit was partially domesticated, and the integrated utilization process of acidified “three wastes” was added, and the equipment used in the heat-conducting oil system was able to make good use of the old equipment. New tower and relocation equipment share a tower system. Although the new installation process opened up and produced the first batch of qualified products, due to the need to further explore the process operation, combined with the serious snow and ice disasters at the beginning of this year, it has brought difficulties to the stable production of the device.
