Humbert & Poyet's projects are characterized by their refined elegance and attention to detail, creating timeless spaces through the use of high-quality materials such as stone, wood, and bronze. The core philosophy revolves around reflecting the client's personality while respecting the essence of the location. Whether working on public or private commissions, they leave their mark through thoughtful material selections, innovative lighting designs, and their knack for enhancing spatial perception—ensuring the client remains the focal point. "Our collaboration is seamless," says Christophe Poyet. "Constant communication underpins every project, and this synergy ensures that our envisioned spaces resonate perfectly."

Marie Dining Chair
Marie is a versatile dining chair that embodies mid-century charm with a modern twist. Crafted with slim legs made of polished brass, a plush round cushion upholstered in velvety velvet, and a circular backrest, it exudes sophistication without armrests, making it ideal for casual settings like bars or restaurants.
When it comes to interior design, Humbert & Poyet have been instrumental in transforming spaces like Beefbar Paris, located near the iconic Champs-Elysées. Originally housed in the historic Fermette Marbeuf building, the team discovered a room in pure Art Nouveau style but severely damaged. This inspired them to restore the space meticulously, enlisting skilled artisans to bring it back to life. The result is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, where Art Nouveau aesthetics meet industrial-inspired elements.
The design philosophy emphasizes contrasts—old meets new, simplicity meets eccentricity—resulting in a cozy yet chic brasserie atmosphere. The restored Art Nouveau details coexist beautifully with the sleek industrial ceiling and minimalist wooden accents, creating an inviting ambiance.
In another hospitality project, Humbert & Poyet were tasked with designing the 171 rooms at The Hoxton Paris. Drawing inspiration from classic Parisian charm and the retro vibe of 1950s industrial workshops, the design reflects a dialogue between different eras. Each bathroom is treated as an independent unit—a multifunctional box framed by metalwork that can double as a wardrobe or desk. As the decorators note, "The room decor celebrates French craftsmanship from two pivotal periods in Parisian history—the late 19th century and the 1950s."
