The correct operation of the hybrid folding machine

Folding machine is an essential book binding device. In order to meet the needs of the printing market, especially in the case of higher and higher requirements of customers on the production cycle, quality, and personalized printing, traditional manual folding machines and low-speed folding machines cannot satisfy printing. When the user uses a high-speed folding machine, the device may not be able to display its high-speed folding efficiency effectively due to unskilled operation or fuzzy mechanical principles. The common problems in hybrid folding machines are now analyzed for your reference.

First, the pull line is unstable

There are many reasons for the instability of the pull gauge line and attention should be paid to the following aspects:

1. The operating edge of the paper table is too far away from the pull frame inlet;

2. The proportion of steel ball and plastic ball is not proper (usually thin paper steel is less plastic, while thick paper steel is less plastic);

3. The end of the paper on the bridge is at the end edge of the paper;

4, a fold of the first and second sets of folding roller pressure is too light or uneven pressure at both ends;

5, a fence front fence and cutting paper 900 is not correct.

Second, run page phenomenon

Running a page means that the pages in the folded book can't be close to the spine. The generation of running pages is generally after two or three folds, and the main reason is that the vertical and horizontal friction forces of the folding rollers are different when the vertical knife is used.

Solution:

1. Adjust the pressure of the folding roller to make it less pressure near the stop;

2, adjust the vertical folding knife so that it is a little bevel, to ensure that when the next knife away from the side of the file knife first hit the paper table;

3. When the paper arrives at the two-fold or three-fold rule orientation, the center line of the paper should be on the same line as the next folding knife.

Three, a folding paper folding angle

The folding angle during the folding process, especially when the paper is less than 70g, is more common, which is mainly caused by the unevenness between each guide plate and the folding roller, because if the paper passes through the folding roller, the gap between the guiding plate and the folding roller is too large. Large, paper in motion can easily enter the secondary gap, resulting in a chamfer.

Solution: The position of the guide plate can be adjusted so that the left and right gaps between the guide roller and the folding roller are the same.

Four, two fold holes are not correct

1. The gap of the folding roller is too big or the two ends are inconsistent;

2, the depth of two-fold knife improper;

3. The distance between the front and the bottom of the two-fold knife is improper (when the paper is conveyed by the folding roller, the regular edge of the paper should move close to the front gauge);

4, check the punch blade wear.

The above four points are some common problems in the use of folding machines. Usually, they only need to be adjusted to solve the problem. When operating a high-speed folding machine, it is necessary to first understand the various performances and precautions of the machine by referring to the operating instructions of the product, and to understand and correct the operation afterwards, so that undue problems can be avoided.
