Types and applications of screen printing

As a wide range of printing, screen printing can be divided into: textile printing, plastic printing, metal printing, ceramic printing, glass printing, electronic product printing, lottery screen printing, electric decoration advertising board screen printing, etc. Metal advertising board screen printing, stainless steel screen printing, light reflector screen printing, screen transfer anodized aluminum, screen printing and lacquer screen printing, etc.

Fabric printing

Fabric printing refers to the process of forming patterns on the fabric by printing. The printing methods are: pattern printing, screen printing, roller-type rotary screen printing, transfer printing and multi-color shower printing. Among them, screen printing is derived from pattern printing (including pattern paper and zinc plate), starting From manual operation, it gradually moved toward semi-automation and complete automation, and later developed from a flat net to a round net.

There are several printing methods for fabric printing:

1. Direct printing of paint. Direct printing of paint is to print the prepared printing paste directly on the fabric, which is the simplest and most commonly used process in the printing process. The direct printing process of paint generally refers to printing on white or light-colored fabrics. It is easy to match colors and simple in process. After printing, it can be baked and processed. It is suitable for textiles of various fibers. The direct printing process of paints can be divided into Acramin F-type adhesives according to the currently commonly used adhesives. Three direct printing processes of acrylic adhesive, styrene-butadiene emulsion and chitin adhesive.

2. Silk printing. The main methods of silk printing are direct printing, discharge printing and anti-dye printing. The direct printing method has been introduced earlier. The discharge printing method, the transfer printing method, and the penetration printing method will be introduced separately in the relevant sections later. Here, the anti-dye printing method is mainly introduced.

3. Knitted underwear printing. The printing of knitted underwear mainly uses the direct printing process of paint. After printing, the fabric can be double-baked or naturally dried, which avoids the problems of easy deformation of the knitted fabric and difficult treatment of the agricultural sheet. The printing method is mainly flat screen printing, which is divided into manual scraping and machine operation. This printing method can adapt to the flower patterns of various forms and organizational structures, and is suitable for the production needs of small batches and multiple colors.

4. Discharge printing. Discharge printing is also called engraving. It refers to a printing method that uses a discharge agent to print on colored fabrics and destroys some dyes that have been dyed, thus obtaining various patterns and patterns. Discharge agent is a chemical that can decolorize the dye base. Such as: Diaobai Ju, stannous chloride, etc. This method can be divided into two patterns: white (pulled white) and colored (pulled). The latter dyeing method makes the fabric pattern fine, but the process is complicated and the cost is high.

5. Silk screen burnt-out. The burnt-out system uses two kinds of fiber blended fabrics with different acid resistance. After the acid burnt pulp printing and chemical processing, the natural fiber parts that are not acid-resistant are rotten to expose the chemical fiber parts that are acid-resistant, forming a crystal transparent flower Type, its special style makes burnt-out products have a high-end gorgeous feeling. Burnt-out products are not only gorgeous in appearance, but also excellent in internal quality, with wear resistance, high strength, good washing, quick drying, no-iron performance, and are welcomed by domestic and foreign markets. The research and application of burnt-out technology has prevailed in the textile printing and dyeing industry in recent years.

6. Wool fabric printing. At present, printed wool fabrics are mainly thin plain weave fabrics or tulle fabrics, and most of them are used to make women's shirts, dresses, quilts and skirts. In addition to direct printing, wool fabric printing also has pull-out printing, anti-printing and transfer printing. Wool blend fabric printing also occupies a certain proportion. At present, the relief finishing of wool fabrics is also quite popular, mainly used for woolen sweaters.

7. Velveteen printing. Diamond printing uses the characteristics of silk printing to print on velveteen, which can obtain a special flash effect, which can emit the light of natural diamond under the sunlight.

8. Foam printing. There are many varieties of special fabric printing, foam printing is one of them. The characteristics of foam printing are: strong three-dimensional feeling, similar to artificial embroidery, soft hand feeling, wear resistance, washing resistance, good fastness and elasticity, and can be widely used in tablecloths, curtains, tea towels, handkerchiefs, pillow towels, clothing, travel Souvenirs and other aspects. It can be applied not only on natural fiber fabrics such as cotton, hemp, silk, etc., but also on man-made fiber fabrics.

9. Flocking printing. Electrostatic flocking is a new technology emerging in the textile industry. It is a product that uses high voltage electrostatic field to plant short fibers on the grey cloth. Flocking products are simple in process, strong in three-dimensional sense, and low in cost. Therefore, they are widely used in rubber, plastic, artificial leather, and decorative products, especially for small batches of travel products, which show its incomparable advantages. The use of flocking patterns on shoes, hats, children's clothing, trademarks, and apparel will make it look unique.

10. Transfer printing. Transfer printing is a printing process that relies on the sublimation of dyes and the effect of dye vapor on the diffusion and affinity of fibers to complete the coloring effect. Transfer printing is a more practical printing and dyeing production method in anhydrous processing. In addition to not using water, there is also a main feature that the paper deformation is small, so you can print fine multi-level patterns and photography pictures. Transfer the pattern picture to the cloth. The effect is sometimes better than general anti-discharge printing.

In addition to the above ten common printing methods, there are some special printing methods, such as: anodized aluminum transfer printing, photoluminescence printing, fluorescent printing, gold and silver powder printing, coating foam printing, color changing printing, fragrance printing, diamond printing Pearl printing and so on, printing methods.

Plastic screen printing

The screen printing of plastic parts is one of the secondary mechanics (or reprocessing) of plastic products. The so-called secondary processing means that after plastic injection molding, surface decorative treatment is performed again, such as: plastic electroplating, plastic spraying, plastic hot stamping, plastic silk screen printing, etc. The secondary processing of plastic products is mainly determined by the performance of the plastic itself. For example, its dyeability is relatively simple, and the light resistance of the color is also poor. In order to make up for these shortcomings and improve the appearance and decoration of plastic products, secondary processing is required.

There are many types of plastic products, but in terms of screen printing methods, sheets and flat bodies use flat screen printing methods; curved bodies that can be expanded into planes use curved screen printing methods; and shaped products use indirect screen printing methods. Plastic products have different resins, additives and molding methods, and their surface properties vary greatly, especially the problems of surface smoothness, polarity and static electricity, which have become the root cause of plastic screen printing failures.

1. Screen printing of PVC plastic. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) was put into industrial production in 1931. Polyvinyl chloride plastic has the advantages of bright color, not easy to break, acid resistance, alkali resistance, low price and so on. However, due to the fact that some auxiliary materials added when manufacturing PVC plastics are often toxic, PVC products should not contain food. There are many varieties of PVC films, and most of the colorful plastic cloth and artificial leather on the market are PVC products.

2. Screen printing of ABS plastic. ABS resin plastic is an engineering plastic. In recent years, it has been widely used in televisions, calculators and other products as well as many fields of the national economy. ABS plastic is a terpolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. Since ABS plastic is a ternary copolymer, it also has the common characteristics of three components. Acrylic eye can make the copolymer resistant to chemical corrosion and have a certain surface hardness; butadiene can make the polymer have rubber-like toughness; The polymer has the characteristics of easy processing and forming. ABS plastic has various colors, the product has a glossy appearance, low water absorption, good impact strength and surface hardness in a certain temperature range, and has good dimensional stability. Most ABS resins still have considerable impact strength and toughness at a temperature of -40 ° C. The temperature range of their products is -40 to 60 ° C. ABS plastic has a high molecular weight, good physical properties, easy processing and printing Good adaptability.

3. Screen printing of polyethylene and polypropylene plastics.

Polyethylene (PE) plastic: Polyethylene plastic is widely used and can be made into various finished products through extrusion, injection and other molding processes. The molecule of polyethylene is a long chain composed of methylene groups, which contains a certain amount of side groups. The more side groups in the polymer chain and the longer the length, the lower the crystallinity of the polymer. That is to say, the higher the density of polyethylene, the more disadvantageous it is to surface finishing. Polyethylene is unclear in many solvents, but when the temperature exceeds 70 ℃, polyethylene can be dissolved in toluene, amyl acetate and other solvents in a small amount. The nature of polyethylene provides conditions for surface finishing. The plastic can be soaked in heated solvent to swell the surface and destroy some crystals to improve the adhesion of the ink film on the plastic surface. The mixture of fuming sulfuric acid, concentrated nitric acid, chromic acid and sulfuric acid can slowly act on polyethylene at room temperature; sulfuric acid and nitric acid at 90 to 100 ° C can quickly destroy polyethylene; use potassium leadate, sulfuric acid, distilled water The mixed liquid, soaked in polyethylene plastic at 70 ~ 75 ℃, is conducive to enhancing the adhesion of the ink film on the plastic surface.

Polypropylene (PP) plastic: Polypropylene has been one of the important varieties of plastic development for many years. Applicable to all molding methods. Can do all kinds of pipes, various boxes and films, fibers, etc. Industrial polypropylene has a high degree of spatial regularity, a high degree of crystallinity, an isocratic index in the range of 89-95%, and contains a small amount of non-crystalline atactic and low-crystalline stereoblock macromolecular chains. The melting point is in the range of 170 to 175 ° C, the glass transition temperature of the isotactic polymer is -13 to 0 ° C, and the syndiotactic polymer is O ° C. Concentrated nitric acid and fuming sulfuric acid can attack polypropylene. At higher temperatures, they can dissolve in aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Room temperature can only expand them. Acids and esters also have some corrosion effect on it, and as the content of isotactic polymers increases, the solvent resistance also increases accordingly.

Generally speaking, both polyethylene and polypropylene are non-polar molecular polymer materials with high crystallinity and low surface tension. There is no polar group like carbon group, carboxyl group and hydroxyl group in their molecular structure. Compared with polyethylene, the surface of polypropylene is easier to finish.

4. Screen printing of plastic parts of electronic products. Electronic products, especially radio products such as radios, recorders, televisions, etc., have high requirements for appearance. Art designers attach great importance to the appearance and decoration of products, and China currently has fewer processes for exterior decoration, which restricts the thinking of artists, so that they can only pass the size of the product, the use of various lines, and the plastic itself is limited. Color to change the appearance of the product. After the development of plastic screen printing, it has brought convenience to the decoration of electronic products. Therefore, in recent years, plastic screen printing of various electronic products in China has been widely used.

5. Screen printing of plastic signs. In recent years, plastic signs and decorative parts that undergo silk-screen graphics and text after plastic molding have developed rapidly. Such as screen printing on plastic pressing parts of polyvinyl chloride rigid board (PVC board), polycarbonate, ABS, plexiglass, modified polystyrene, has been widely used, and achieved good decorative effect and economy benefit.

6. Screen printing of soft and hard plastic parts.

① Silk screen of plastic hose. There are several methods for printing plastic hoses. The main method is thermal transfer printing. The thermal transfer method is to use sublimation dye ink or other materials to print the picture and text on the transfer paper, and then paste it with the substrate, and heat it from the back of the transfer paper to sublimate the dye on the paper. The image is transferred to the substrate. After the surface treatment of the plastic hose, the gas is transferred by the sun, and the transfer paper passes between the hose and a heated iron plate. The heated iron plate pushes the transfer paper to the hose, which is heated to complete the transfer. After the transfer, the hose enters the drying device, the drying temperature is generally about 65 ℃.

â‘¡ Silk screen of soft plastic. Soft plastics are mostly used to make toys, such as inflatable cartoon toys. During the production, the pattern is usually printed on the soft sheet plastic first, and then cut and heat-synthesized. The thickness of the material used is generally 0.8 ~ 3.0mm. When screen printing with more than two colors, most of the plastic will stretch, and there will be a color registration error between the second color and the first color. This color error makes the product lose its original value and cannot be put on the shelf as a qualified product. For this reason, multi-color printing can only use long-table printers that can fix flexible plastics. When performing long-table printing, the substrate must be fixed with adhesive. It is worth noting that toy printing must use non-toxic and harmless inks as specified in the relevant standards.

â‘¢ Silk screen of hard plastic products. There are two kinds of rigid plastic products: rigid board and molded product. Tickets, signboards, instrument dials, cosmetic containers, etc. are made of hard plastic.

7. Screen printing of the instrument panel. The surface material of the panel may be metal, various plastics, paint, etc., select the appropriate ink, screen print some text and graphics on the panel, indicating some functions of the equipment, and also beautify the panel. The text and graphics of the screen printing should be clear, with good adhesion and wear resistance, and also require soft and elegant tones to give people a beautiful feeling. Here we mainly discuss how to improve the quality of the panel using the silk screen process.

9. Screen printing of colored polyester signs. The polyester sign is a new type of sign that has developed rapidly in China in recent years. Because it has the advantages of bright color, good decoration, easy to paste, simple manufacturing method, low cost, etc., it is very popular among the users, and quickly obtained in high, medium and low-grade electronic products, household appliances, and cultural supplies Popularize applications. At present, there are many professional factories in China that produce such signs. However, because the production processes of these factories are designed according to the needs of large-scale signage processing, for those polyester signage products with large varieties and small quantities, neither from the perspective of processing technology or production cost, adapt. Here we introduce a process technology that uses screen printing to print color polyester signage, which is for reference of producers engaged in small batch and multi-variety color polyester signage.

Metal screen printing

The scope of metal screen printing is very wide, it can print all kinds of logo roots, panels, signs and metal moldings. Most of them are decorated by direct printing, and there is not much difference in screen printing techniques, except that metal products are durable goods, and the surface decoration requirements are higher and more durable. Therefore, more surface treatments are performed before printing, such as surface coating, electroplating, and anode Oxidation or mechanical deburring (travel pattern, drawing), etc. When printing, the surface must be kept clean, so be sure to wear gloves when working. If stains such as grease, fingerprints and dust accumulate on the treated surface, they must be cleaned with solvents such as trichloroethylene, thinner and gasoline. In addition, according to the surface properties of the metal, select the appropriate printing ink, such as amino baking paint and epoxy baking paint coating surface, use amino and epoxy resin thermosetting ink; nitro varnish and other natural drying coatings, Solvent volatile or oxidative drying inks can be used, but solvents or thinners must be used carefully to prevent damage to the paint surface, and a layer of varnish is added after printing to improve gloss and protect the entire surface; the metal plating surface also It can be printed with thermosetting ink, but pay attention to the difference between the thermal expansion coefficient of the plating layer and the metal to control the heating temperature to avoid the difference in expansion coefficient and the cracking of the coating; the anodizing of the aluminum plate will form an oxide layer with a uniform gap 2 ~ 10μm), has a larger surface area, can improve the adhesion of the coating (ink), in addition, it also has the performance of adsorbing dyes, and can be used to make dyeing signs with diffusion ink or dip dyeing method.

1. Silk screen corrosion sign. Corrosion signage is a traditional signage. It is used as a sand-blasting and oxidizing paint-filling signage for instrument panels, as a corrosion-baking paint signage for vehicle and ship license plates, equipment numbers, and various machine tool electrical appliance plates. The product's copper plated front signs are used as porcelain oxide pole paint signs on the surface decoration of instruments and electronic instruments, as well as high cursor signs. The pictures and texts on these signs used to be visualized by liquid photosensitive glue (protein glue, bone glue, gelatin, polyvinyl alcohol glue, etc.) through photochemical methods. Although this method has the advantages of small graphic distortion, it has many defects such as low production efficiency, high labor intensity, and high energy consumption. The screen printing method is used to display the pictures and texts, which can increase the production efficiency several times and save a lot of auxiliary materials and energy. The following specifically introduces the graphic screen printing process of corrosion signs to readers.

2. Silk screen aluminum oxide dyeing signs. Aluminum oxide signs, hard and smooth surface, durable and durable.

After aluminum oxide signs and panels are closed by oxidation, there is a layer of oxide film on the surface to make the surface hard and smooth. Screen printing with general inks tends to have poor adhesion, which should be especially noticed. To solve this problem, we must first solve the problem of ink and operation of silk screen printing. The use of alumina screen printing ink is the key to solving the problems of adhesion and firmness of the ink film in alumina screen printing. This ink is different from general ink, it will be firmly attached to the aluminum plate, and also has good light resistance, is the ideal ink for silk screen aluminum anodized signs.

3. Silk-screen convex and concave color aluminum signs. The characteristic of the convex and concave signs is that they are painted on the concaves. It has good abrasion resistance and has a three-dimensional effect. It is mostly used for mechanical nameplates and company plaques. The traditional production method is to manually paint the corroded recesses (or use injection needles to paint the paint), and then manually trim to remove the residual paint on the edges. Not only is this method time-consuming and inefficient, it requires operators to have skilled skills, and the signs produced are often unclear on the face, deformed in writing, and unstable in quality. Therefore, it is limited to making some signs with small batches, few color numbers, low quality requirements and very simple patterns.

4. Screen printing sandblasted oxidized inlaid aluminum sign. Screen printing sand blasting oxidation inlaid lacquer sign technology is a traditional sign production technology. The appearance of these products is silvery white, with high surface hardness and good wear resistance.

5. Silk screen wood from alumina sign. The water white alumina sign is a new type of sub-photon surface sign that has recently appeared in China. This sign has a milky white appearance, a smooth and smooth surface, no bumps, and has the properties of resistance to heat, salt spray, and mold. It also has strong characteristics such as light resistance, abrasion resistance, and organic solvent resistance. The machine tool and the whole machine work under the harsh environment. More commendable is that the silk screen water white alumina sign has fewer production processes, high work efficiency, and basically no "three wastes". Its human and energy consumption (including water and electricity) does not exceed one third of the traditional corrosion sign.

6. Printed aluminum oxide color signs. Aluminum flat anodized signs are one of the varieties of signs, which are widely used. It has the characteristics of beautiful appearance, bright, high hardness and good wear resistance. In the past, the process was aluminum blanking, mechanical polishing, chemical polishing, and oxidation; indirect method screen printing, zinc-barium white thick paint plus alkyd varnish for protection printing; and coloring with dye paste. This process has the disadvantages of more materials, complicated procedures, low printing resistance, poor resolution, and high cost regardless of the screen printing or dyeing. Under the existing technical conditions, it is possible to compile a new process with relatively simple procedures, good quality and high efficiency. The new process uses a non-toxic diazo-type photosensitive adhesive to directly make screen printing plates. Practice has proved that it can meet the requirements of fast plate making, high resolution, high printing resistance and less materials. Moreover, the steps of printing protective paint, dyeing, and printing materials can be combined into one, that is, self-made water-based dyeing materials, direct dyeing, successive color registration, and no color cylinder. This greatly simplifies the entire process and operation procedures, so that a new method of flat oxidation dyeing signs.

7. High-gloss stereo relief aluminum sign. With the continuous development of production technology and the improvement of people's material and spiritual living standards, people not only have higher and higher requirements for product functions, but also put forward higher requirements for product modeling and performance. Especially with the development of the domestic and foreign market economy and the continuous expansion of foreign trade, people's requirements for product functions and external quality are becoming higher and higher. In order to improve the market competitiveness of products, high-gloss three-dimensional relief relief signs have been widely used.

8. Silk-screen electroplated plaque. Plaque is a product produced by many signage factories. The plaque is mainly made of metal materials, which requires solemnity, obviousness and strong decoration. Among the traditional metal plaques, the square plaques with brass floor, corroded characters and black lacquer are the most common. With the continuous change of people's aesthetic viewpoints and the gradual development of the commodity economy, there are new and different requirements for the quality of the plaque. Since the signage industry introduced screen printing technology, it not only promoted the development of screen printing technology, but also provided a technical means for the signage industry to develop new products. The new electroplating plaque made by screen printing is the product of the combination of electroplating and silk screen printing. Its basic method is to make plain text graphics on copper plate by screen printing method, protect and cover the non-graphic parts with ink layer, and the silver parts of the graphic are electroplated with copper, nickel and chromium system, and then mechanically shaped and protected.

9. Imitation metal etching silk screen. Products printed by imitation metal etching have a metal etching effect visually. To achieve the above effect, the surface of the substrate should have a mirror gloss. A transparent ink is printed on the substrate with a concave-convex ink coating to form a frosted glass-like rough surface. The combination of rough surfaces with strong contrast makes the printed surface concave and the convex surface produces a convex printing effect. The stronger the contrast, the better the imitation etching effect. The effect of unevenness is proportional to the thickness of the ink film. The ink contains high solid content, and the effect will be better if a low-mesh printing plate is used. This technique originally used a gel-like ink of acrylic emulsion (solid content 50%), which was heat-treated at 180 ° C after drying. Therefore, substrates are limited to heat-resistant metals and glass, and hard plastics and paper cannot be used. Because of the use of high viscosity gel inks such as acrylic emulsions and the temperature during operation, the stability of the ink viscosity is extremely poor, and the quality of the product fluctuates greatly. Since the ultraviolet drying ink is used in screen printing, the printing process and technique have a great flexibility. Ultraviolet ink is a 100% curing type. The ink can be hardened by ultraviolet irradiation for 3 to 5 seconds, and the surface temperature is about 100 ° C. If you use a water-cooled UV irradiation machine, the temperature can be reduced to about 60 ℃, so the types of substrates will also increase, you can use aluminum foil paper with mirror gloss, vapor-deposited paper, vapor-deposited vinyl chloride film, vapor-deposited polyester film Printing on other materials.

10. Silk-screen conical dial. The method of silk-screen conical dial: first print the picture and text on the transfer rubber, and then install the conical part on the self-made special fixture, and then roll over the transfer rubber, so that the picture and text are transferred to the cone The parts are on.

11. Imitation porcelain oxidation sign. The surface of the imitation porcelain anodized sign is enamel-like, with soft luster, good resistance, high hardness and wear resistance, good thermal insulation and electrical insulation, good covering ability and ideal adsorption ability , Is a good decoration for instruments, especially high-end machines. However, chromium-containing gas escapes during the production process, so the equipment should be equipped with good ventilation and ventilation equipment to avoid poisoning. The surface pretreatment method of the imitation porcelain oxidation sign is basically the same as the screen printing sand blasting oxidation inlay lacquer sign, except that the imitation porcelain oxidation corrosion sign generally does not need to be chemically polished, but is directly oxidized. The punching of imitation porcelain oxidation corrosion signs, imitation porcelain oxidation dyeing signs and imitation porcelain oxidation printing signs are generally carried out before oxidation. The oxidation process of the imitation porcelain oxidation corrosion sign is the same as the sandblasting and oxidizing inlaid paint process, and the imitation porcelain oxidation dyeing sign is the same as the silk screen aluminum oxidation color sign.

Ceramic screen printing

The pattern decoration on ceramics has been used for a long time by blowing, hand-painting, rubber printing, and transfer of decals printed with copperplate and lithography. In recent years, with the application of screen printing in the ceramic industry, the decorative patterns on ceramics are more three-dimensional, the enamel after firing is very thick and the color is very bright, it looks like it is depicted with magnetic paint. The pattern is finer than the general pattern using the blowing method, and the production efficiency has also been improved a lot. Because of the above-mentioned advantages of ceramic decoration on silk screen, its application range is getting wider every day.

Screen printing of glass

Glass screen printing is the use of screen printing plates and glass glazes for decorative printing on glass products. Glass glaze is also called glass ink and glass printing material. It is a paste-like printing material formed by mixing and stirring coloring materials and connecting materials. The coloring material is composed of inorganic pigments and low-melting flux (lead glass powder); the linking material is commonly known as lee board oil in the glass screen printing industry. After printing, the glass products should be fired in a furnace at a temperature of 520-600 ° C. The glaze printed on the glass surface can be consolidated on the glass to form a colorful decorative pattern. If screen printing is used in combination with other processing methods, more ideal results will be obtained. For example, by polishing, engraving, etching and other methods to process the glass surface before or after printing, the printing effect can be doubled.

1. Etching silk screen of glass products. For a long time, the etching decoration of glass products is to apply a wax layer and other reinforcement materials on the surface of the glass as a resist layer, and then engrave a pattern on the coating with a needle or a knife to expose the glass surface, and then Corrosion is carried out with hydrofluoric acid on this part. This process continues to this day and is still used by manufacturers, but its processing methods are time-consuming, laborious, and inefficient. The silk screen etching process makes the etching decoration of glass products simple, time-saving and labor-saving. There are two methods of glass screen etching, hot printing and cold printing. Thermoplastic etching screen printing is the preparation of paraffin, asphalt, stearic acid and other adhesives, adding a small amount of anticorrosive powder to prepare anticorrosive printing materials, through hot printing screen, according to the design pattern, the printing material is scraped To the glass surface, a resist film is formed. The part of the resist film where the glass is exposed is the pattern to be etched. Etching is carried out with chlorofluoric acid. After etching, the resist layer printed on the glass should be washed away with boiling water. Etching of glass screen printing can also be carried out by cold printing method. Anti-corrosion printing materials can use special asphalt paint plus anti-corrosion powder, or you can buy commercially available anti-ink ink. After the printing is completed, after the resist film is completely dried, hydrofluoric acid etching can be performed. Hot stamping is suitable for the etching of two-sided continuous and four-square continuous patterns, and cold stamping is suitable for the etching of individual patterns.

2. Glass ice silk screen. Binghua is commonly known as orange peel, which is actually very fine low-melting glass particles. These fine glass particles have high lead content, and are available in both color and colorless colors. The hue of the color is red, yellow, blue, green, white, etc., and can also be prepared in mid-tones. The silk screen ice flower decoration is elegant and generous, and is mostly used for architectural glass decoration and art and craft glass decoration, such as high-end glassware, lamps and other decorations. The silk screen glass ice flower decoration is to first screen the colored or colorless glass flux layer (flux) on the surface of the glass, and then sprinkle the ice glass particles on this glass flux layer. By sintering at 500 to 590 ° C, the flux layer and the ice particle layer on the glass surface are fused together to produce a relief effect. If the colored flux is silk-screened on the glass, and the micro-ice is transparent, the flux layer of the glass ice pattern will fade by high temperature eutectic, and a colored, raised transparent relief pattern will be formed on the glass surface.

3. Frosted silk screen of glass. Frosting is to adhere glass color glaze powder of a certain size on the product glass. After baking at a high temperature of 580-600 ° C, the glass color glaze coating is melted on the glass surface and shows a different color from the glass body. A decorative method. Adhering to the glass color glaze powder, it can be painted with a row of pens, or it can be rolled with a rubber roller. Through silk screen processing, you can get the floor pattern on the matte surface. The method is as follows: on the surface of the glass product, a layer of pattern formed by the flux inhibitor is silk-screened. After the printed patterns are air-dried, the frosting process is carried out. Then, after baking at high temperature, the frosted surface without the pattern is melted on the glass surface, and the silk surface covered with the pattern cannot be fused on the glass surface due to the effect of the flux inhibitor. After baking, the transparent floor pattern will appear through the translucent sand surface, forming a special decorative effect. Frosted screen printing flux inhibitor, composed of iron oxide, talc, clay, etc., is ground with a ball mill and has a fineness of 350 mesh. It is blended with an adhesive before screen printing.

4. Screen printing ion exchange coloring of glass. By exchanging silver with sodium ions in the glass, and then reducing it to become a metal colloid, you can get colored glass. On the transparent glass plate, the screen ink containing silver ions is used to print only the part to be colored. After firing and washing, only the printed part changes from yellow to brown. Different firing conditions will change the hue and density. Since there is no reflection difference between the uncolored part and the colored part, there is no unnatural feeling at all, just like melting and coloring glass. The coloring of the characters and marks on the glass and the heat treatment of the rear window glass of the car, as well as the brown color presented by the simple scale used in the experiment, were obtained in this way. The screen printing ink (printing material) of this decoration process is mostly composed of silver carbonate, copper sulfate (burnt powder), iron dioxide, talc powder, etc., with a small amount of zinc powder as a catalyst.

5. The silkscreen touches the control panel. When designing the microwave oven temperature program, a switch combined with a microcomputer was used. This kind of switch is different from the ordinary mechanical switch. It is a switch printed on the glass plate. It has no moving parts and no bumps. It is very smooth and easy to remove stains. It can be switched by touch. The surface of this control panel is covered with a conductive film, and screen printing ceramic-based ink is used for decoration and text display. Its advantages are resistance to mechanical wear, chemical corrosion, and easy decontamination. In addition, in order to color the glass when designing, organic paint can be printed on the back. Since the back cannot be directly contacted, the durability is strong, and the choice of ink is also large.

6. Matte silk screen on glass surface. The matt ink juice (made in Belgium) on the surface of the glass is printed on the soda lime glass with a screen printing plate, and washed with water after a few minutes, the effect is like a brown glass. Fluoric acid is usually used when etching glass, which has certain risks. The use of this ink does not contain strong acids, and the operation is simple. Its matting effect is similar to etching.

7. The silk screen of the electric defogging device. In order to prevent condensation on the rear window glass of automobiles, more and more printed electric defogging devices are used. This screen printing method is to apply silver paste into a line on smooth glass, and fire it while bending the glass. When the rear window is blurred and fogged, let the lines heat through the current, increase the temperature of the glass surface, and remove the water vapor. When this type of electric defogging device is powered on, some cars do not use manual switches, but automatically power on and power off. The sensor of this automatic device prints the zigzag electrode on the thin plate glass, and then covers it with a layer of moisture-sensitive body, and automatically controls the power on and off by using the humidity ratio.

8. Screen printing of liquid crystal display elements. Liquid crystal digital display elements are separated by about 10μn. The two thin glass sheets are sealed around, filled with liquid crystal, and sealed by the injection port. On these two glass surfaces, a silk screen is printed with an "8" shape of transparent conductive strands. This "8" shape is composed of 7 parts, and the voltage can be partially increased to show the number (0 ~ 5). The process of making this "8" pattern is first of all, on the field glass with the entire electrically conductive strands, the acid-resistant ink only screen prints the "8" shape, and then uses acid etching to remove Conductive strands in the printed part.

Screen printing in the manufacture of electronic products

In the production process of electronic products, screen printing has become an indispensable process. Such as the decoration of product casings, printed circuits, thick film integrated circuits, solar cells, electricity; Ju, capacitors, piezoelectric elements, photosensitive elements, thermal elements, liquid crystal display elements, etc., have been used to varying degrees in the production process Screen printing process.

Other screen printing methods
