【Purpose requirement】

【Experimental Principle】
1. The volt-ampere characteristic of the measuring element
Energize an electrical element, measure the voltage across the element with a voltmeter, and measure the current through the element with an ammeter to make a voltage-current relationship curve called the volt-ampere characteristic curve of the element. This method of studying the characteristics of the element It's called voltammetry.
2. Precautions when measuring the characteristics of components
(1) To understand the relevant parameters, performance and characteristics of the components, the components should be used safely and work normally during the experiment. The voltage applied to the components and the current passing through should be less than their rated values;
(2) When selecting the varistor circuit, it should be considered that the adjustment is convenient and can meet the requirements of the measurement range. The voltage divider circuit is often used in the experiment. If the degree of fine adjustment is not enough, two variable resistors can be used to form a two-stage voltage divider (or current control) fine adjustment circuit;
(3) When determining the measurement range, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the component and cover its normal working range to reflect the characteristics of the component. The power supply voltage should be selected according to the measurement range;
(4) Reasonable selection of measurement points can reduce the relative error of measured values. When measuring non-linear components, it is more convenient to select physical quantities that change greatly as independent variables, and measurement points can be taken at regular intervals; when measurement values ​​change, measurement points can be appropriately increased;
(5) Before the formal measurement, the component under test should be roughly measured to roughly understand the characteristics, physical laws and change range of the component under test, and then point-by-point measurement.
