I. Introduction

Polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) coating steel drum is a new chemical resistant packaging material successfully researched and produced by Zhejiang Chemical Industry Research Institute. It was approved by Zhejiang Petrochemical Department and passed the technical appraisal. Now it is from Zhejiang Yongkang Chengguan Town Hardware Factory. produce.

Our factory has started exporting pesticides since last year. At that time, there was no ideal pesticide export packaging material in China. We chose PVF coating steel drum to package export pesticides.

Since last year, we cooperated with Zhejiang Chemical Industry Research Institute to pack some pesticide emulsifiable concentrates produced by our factory in PVF coating steel drums for a half-year physical storage test. Regular sampling and analysis were carried out to observe the changes in the quality of stored samples to further Inspect the effect of steel drums of PVF coatings on the quality of pesticides.

Second, the test plan and test results

(1) Test plan

1. Test bucket: 25 gallon PVF paint steel drum (produced by Yongkang Chengguan Hardware Factory)

2. Test varieties: methamidophos, different rice glutinous rice, rice glutinous rice, malathion, dichlorvos (produced by our factory)

3. Storage requirements: Each variety stores three barrels of the same batch of emulsifiable concentrate, 50 kg per barrel.

4. Control sample: Pack glass bottles with 1000 ml of pesticide, each bottle containing 1 kg of the same batch of emulsifiable concentrate.

5. Storage location: production workshop warehouse

6. Storage time: last April to October last year

7. Sampling and analysis requirements: A full analysis of each barrel of storage and control samples is performed every two months. The results of the barrel sample analysis are taken as the average of the two barrels.

Third, the results and discussion

1. After half a year of normal temperature storage test, the inner wall of PVF coating steel drum is basically intact. It shows that PVF coating has better chemical corrosion resistance. PVF coating steel drum is a better packaging material for pesticide emulsion packaging. The promotion and application of PVF coating steel drums has a positive effect on improving the packaging and packaging of China's export pesticides and chemical products, ensuring the quality of pesticides and enhancing the competitiveness of foreign trade and domestic markets.

2. After six months of storage of methamidophos, diarrhea, and rice blast, the data of various quality indicators were basically consistent with the data of the control stocks. It indicates that the quality of the above three types of emulsifiable concentrates in PVF coating steel drums has no effect. We believe that PVF coating steel drums are feasible for the packaging of methamidophos, xenobiotics and rice blast.

3. PVF coating steel drum is used for malathion emulsifiable oil packaging to have a certain impact on its quality. After half a year, the sample was precipitated, the stability was unqualified, and a small amount of precipitate was produced. However, the changes in content and acidity were comparable to those of the control samples, and the quality impact was not obvious from the four-month sampling analysis. Therefore, we believe that the PVF coating steel drum is suitable for short-term packaging and storage of malathion EC, but it needs further testing for packaging and storage for a long time.

4. The effect of PVF coating steel drum on the quality of dichlorvos EC is obvious. After storage for two months, its acidity increased significantly and the content decreased. After storage for four months

Therefore, we believe that PVF coating steel drums are not suitable for packaging dichlorvos.

5. Due to the variety of pesticides, it is recommended to continuously expand the scope of the test and conduct further research, and gradually apply PVF coating steel drums to pesticide emulsifiable concentrates and crude oil packaging to reduce the burden of railway transportation and reduce environmental pollution.

6. In view of the excellent chemical stability of PVF coatings, it is recommended that the relevant departments further develop composite materials and gradually apply 0.5 kg and 1 kg composite plastic bottles for the packaging of pesticide emulsifiable concentrates, making greater contributions to improving pesticide packaging.
