Research into video games is more beneficial to children than outdoor activities
According to a recent study by the University of Tennessees Healthy Eating and Activity Laboratory, video games such as the Xbox 360 Kinect that require players to have full-body activity may have better physical activity than children in outdoor activities.
The children of the study, aged between 5 and 8 years old, for three weeks, were required to wear accelerometers on both wrists and hips.
