This spot check is based on the requirements of the industry standard QB/T2531-2001 "Kitchen Furniture" and the national mandatory standard GB5296.6-2004 "Consumer Goods Instructions for Use Part 6 Furniture", dimensions, shape tolerance, material, moisture content, Project indicators such as woodworking requirements, veneer requirements, safety requirements, physical and chemical properties, mechanical properties, formaldehyde emission, and instructions for use were tested.
This time, a total of 16 batches of 16 enterprises from 7 districts and counties in Shapingba District, Yubei District, Jiulongpo District, Banan District, Nan'an District, Jiangbei District and Dadukou District of Chongqing Municipality were selected and qualified for 10 batches. The sampling pass rate was 62.5%.
The physical and chemical properties of the products were in compliance with the standard requirements. The results of the random inspection showed that the unqualified items involved in the 6 batches of unqualified products were: formaldehyde emission, base notch height, various opening and closing parts, various accessories. Project indicators such as installation, product logo and instruction manual. Among them, the formaldehyde emission of one batch of products exceeded the standard, and the instructions for the five batches of products were not provided.
In response to the unqualified products found in the spot check, the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision immediately instructed the Quality Supervision Bureau of the locality to handle the unqualified products and their production enterprises in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
