Glass-like packaging

Looks like glass packaging is popular, but its price is relatively low. This is exactly what the two manufacturers demonstrated to the audience at the HBA in New York in September last year. Both Merle Norman and G.Candiani have introduced health and beauty products using Eastman Chemical's glass polyester materials for packaging. This glass polyester is a thick-walled resin that can achieve the same appearance as glass and at the same time has good clarity and chemical barrier properties.

For Merle Norman's new night crease smoothing cream, this glass polyester offers a novel look and feel, while at the same time providing this practical product to customers at a reasonable price.

Italian G. Candiani also selected the packaging for this perfume brand Just Cavalli. The perfume is packaged in three materials: glass, resin for the shoulders and glass polyester. G. Candiani chose glass polyester because of its aesthetic properties, including transparency, good mechanical properties, and elasticity.
