Packaging Engineering Higher Education Talent Training Model

【Abstract】The talent training mode of packaging engineering undergraduate education is compatible with the modernization of the country and the market economy. The packaging colleges can build a diversified training model based on their advantages and characteristics under the unified talent cultivation target. Talent training modes include:
· Optimize ten types of knowledge structure · Emphasis on six abilities training · Strengthen four quality education · Highlight three characteristics of running a school 【Keywords】 packaging engineering personnel training model Talent training model is the school for students to build knowledge, ability, quality structure and implementation This way of structure, it fundamentally stipulates the characteristics of talented people and centralizes the ideas of education and education. To build a talent training model that meets the needs of political, economic, and cultural development in the 21st century is the key to deepening education reform. Higher education institutions must implement the education policy and follow the general principles of cultivation, broad knowledge, strong abilities, and high quality of senior professionals. Requirement to gradually build a diversified model of talent cultivation that focuses on quality education, imparting knowledge, cultivating ability, and improving quality as well as being rich in the characteristics of the times.
- Quoted from the "Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Deepening Teaching Reform and Training High-Quality Talents to Meet the Needs of the 21st Century"
1. The talents training mode of packaging higher education in China should adapt to the development of packaging industry. 1.1 History China's packaging and higher education is created, developed and improved under the urgent need of modernization and market economy (commodity economy) for packaging talents.
On December 6, 1983, Mr. Qiu Chung, President of the China Packaging Technology Association, during the second National Congress of the China Packaging Technology Association, put forward his report to Comrade Wan Li, then Vice Premier of the State Council: "Scientific research is a packaging work. Outstanding weak links, packaging and scientific research forces across the country are not only very small, but also scattered in dozens of units in different sectors, especially the lack of Chinese-level technical personnel is very lack of ... suggest that the relevant institutions to fully implement and increase the packaging profession," Comrade Wan Li immediately instructed: "The backward packaging technology, the first is the lack of talent, we must hurry to cultivate technical personnel and management personnel in this area." To this end, the China Packaging Technology Association Education Committee, the China Packaging Corporation Technology Training Training Conference and the Ministry of Education Division held a "National Packaging Education Symposium" in Beijing on April 23rd, 1984. The meeting recommended that light industry, commerce and other relevant departments Schools of light industry, commerce, machinery, fine arts, etc., have a plan to establish packaging science and technology engineering.
The background conditions at that time: In 1983, the output value of the packaging industry in the country was 10.7 billion yuan, which only accounted for 1% of the gross national product, which was far from meeting the needs of the transportation and packaging of goods and sales packaging. Most of the packaging technology, equipment, and craftsmanship were equivalent to those of the 1950s. The fixed assets of the packaging industry were only 4.6 billion yuan. In the area of market circulation, it is still common for goods not to be packaged or to use primitive packaging materials for simple packaging. The economic losses caused by improper packaging are more than 10 billion yuan. The technicians in the packaging industry accounted for only 1.39% of the employed people (average number of 3.44% in the country), and the middle and high-level technical personnel were extremely rare.
According to the urgent needs of packaging talents in modernization and market economy, it is difficult for China's packaging higher education to start. In the fall of 1985, colleges and universities began to recruit professional and junior college students for packaging engineering. The Ministry of Education has listed packaging engineering as one of the 10 pre-professional majors in the list of undergraduate majors in higher education institutions.
1.2. Status Quo The output value of China's packaging industry is expected to reach 220 billion yuan in 2000, accounting for a substantial increase in the proportion of gross national product. The packaging technology, equipment, and craftsmanship improved rapidly. The fixed assets of the packaging industry were RMB 218.7 billion. According to the report of the third national industrial census in 1995, among the packaging industry enterprises, the proportion of employees with a college degree or above has reached 3.03%. According to the information provided by the Ministry of Education, as of the 1998 undergraduate professional directory adjustment, the nationwide packaging engineering undergraduate course was established. There are 25 institutions of higher learning. According to the author's knowledge, there are eight other universities that have already built or plan to build undergraduate packaging majors.
The development of packaging higher education in our country has only experienced a short period of 15 years, during which time it has experienced stagnation, and individual institutions have even regressed (stopping suspension). However, the mainstream is developing and advancing, and it maintains a high upward momentum overall. In 2000, the number of undergraduates across the country is estimated to be around 1,000, and the employment rate is higher, because this is an urgent need for talents in the rapid development of Chinese packaging under the conditions of market economy.
2. Talent training goals in packaging higher education in China 2.1, 93 Targets for personnel training The professionalism of packaging engineering stipulated in the introduction of undergraduate majors of the Ministry of Education of the Ministry of Education in 93 years aims at cultivating the design, manufacturing, and processing of product packaging. Advanced engineering and technical personnel for the formulation and scientific research. Business training requirements: The students mainly study the basic theory of packaging, learn the packaging structure design of products, the mainness and selection of packaging materials, the formulation of packaging technology and the design method of packaging machinery and equipment.
2.2.98 Personnel Training Objectives The relevant documents of the same document promulgated in 1998 were drafted by the Ministry of Education Light Industry Teaching Guidance Committee and the China Packaging Technology Association Packaging Education Committee.
· Broaden professional calibre, dilute professional awareness, and cultivate generic talents.
· Broaden basic knowledge and increase cultural quality.
·Adjust knowledge, ability and quality structure.
• Emphasize the combination of art and engineering.
