The DP-CST-500 series galvanic corrosion/electrochemical noise tester consists of high quality CMOS and BiFET® integrated circuits for real-time monitoring of galvanic corrosion or electrochemical noise signals. The instrument can be set up via Windows-based ENtools software. (Controlled by serial port), it can also be operated directly through the panel touch keyboard. Through the ENtools software, the galvanic current density, galvanic corrosion rate, noise resistance Rn, and pitting index can be calculated. ENtools software also has a strong drawing function, supports graphics vector mode, can be directly copied to the Word document, easy to create documents and save data.



How the instrument works



The DP-CST-500 series uses an industrial-grade single-chip control chip and uses a chopper-stabilized amplifier Max7650 as a preamplifier circuit with a temperature drift of less than 1 mV/°C and a time drift of less than 10 mV/Month. The electrochemical noise and galvanic corrosion currents are monitored using a zero-resistance current measurement principle. Built-in dual-channel 24-bit high-precision AD converter, the highest sampling rate is 1000Hz, current measurement has automatic range function, built-in low-pass filter, can effectively eliminate high-frequency noise into the measurement unit; communication part uses RS232/485 circuit, the circuit adopts The all-optical isolation design avoids the influence of the ground loop on the measurement results and ensures the normal use of the instrument in an industrial environment.
