Open the Adobe Photoshop software, process it with the Equalize command (Equalize menu item), and then you can see where there are cracks, streaks, and black spots on the scanner. We can print this file and cut out the best area (that is, the most stable area) to help us place the image. 2. Rotating the image before scanning to perform the rotation is a waste of time. According to the rotation angle, the quality of the image will decrease. If we know in advance how the image will be placed on the page, then using the protractor and the bottom edge of the original to place the original on the roller and platform at a precise angle will result in the highest quality image, not necessarily in the image processing software. Make another rotation. 3. Optimize the scanner resolution to scan linework. The scan resolution matches the output resolution. For example, prepare a 600dpi resolution printer output and scan at 600dpi. If possible, scale down large images after scanning. For example, we scan a 4*4 inch image at 600 dpi and reduce it to 2*2 inches in the assembly program. Its resolution is 1200 dpi.4. Zoom in, soften it, and then add noise if it's enlarged. When changing the image size, keep selected When we change the image size or canvas size in Photoshop, we will lose the active selection before the operation. The image size command can change the image size together with the mask size. Changes in canvas size do not affect the size of the selection. (If you intend to increase the canvas size, first set the background color to black so that the new blank area is not selected.) Maximize the gamut of the scanned image To make full use of a 30- or 36-bit scanner to increase the color range, use a scanner software (such as Agfa's FotoTune) or other company's software to adjust the color as much as possible. This dialog box gives us the option of mixing images every scan (press Option to separate the sliders so that the midtones are overly smooth.). If you are using the Live Picture software, insert the image into the adjacent layer and use the Insert brush to paint more details on one layer than another.
